On Friday, 22 May 2026, the City of Athens workshop on the commitment “Open Participatory Housing Matching Platform” took place in the framework of OGP Local and on the occasion of OpenGov Week. The workshop focused on connecting housing demand with available supply, defining transparent eligibility criteria, and outlining the Municipality’s mediation role, while the discussion was structured around the themes of demand, supply, and matching.

As part of the City of Athens’ commitment to an Open Participatory Housing Matching Platform under OGP Local, the Municipality is organizing a workshop on Friday, 22 May 2026, focusing on the exploration of the main operational parameters of a municipal mechanism that would connect housing demand with available housing supply.

Report of the 4th WeOpenGov Forum: "Open Government: Collaboration for Participation, Accessibility, Transparency"
On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 11:00 to 17:00, the 4th WeOpenGov Forum took place at the “Antonis Tritsis” Amphitheatre of the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Athens, under the theme: “Open Governance: Collaboration for Participation, Accessibility, Transparency”.
The event was organized within the framework of the OGP Local Athens initiative, under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens and the European Digital Governance Innovation Hub, GR digiGOV-innoHUB.
